Product Description
Create a custom serving platter using a handwritten recipe or other meaningful source material. We can work from handwritten recipe cards and personal letters, typewritten recipes, cookbook pages, newspaper clippings, photographs, and other vintage or heirloom materials to create a personalized platter for serving or display.
Using the materials you provide, we carefully isolate and restore the original handwriting and other content. This preserves the character of the original while creating a crisp, beautifully printed design that looks as though it was written directly onto the platter.
HOW TO ORDER
Submit Your Recipe
Please provide a clear photograph or scan of the recipe you would like to use, along with any additional source materials you would like included. You may submit your files by email at support@keepsakecharm.com, by text message at 859-685-5191, by direct upload on this product page, or through our File Submission Portal at https://keepsakecharm.com/products/file-upload. You only need to use one of these submission methods.
Once your files are received, we will send a confirmation message and add them to your project folder for our Design Team. If you have questions about the submission process, your source materials, or the design process, please feel free to contact us.

To upload files on this product page, locate the file-upload field and select “Add files.” If you have multiple pages, please add each file individually. Once your files have been uploaded, add the platter to your cart and proceed to checkout.

Please include your name, email address, or order number in the Project Notes. Add the File Submission item to your cart and proceed to checkout. File submission is free; no payment information will be collected.
If you are unsure whether your recipe or other source material is suitable, you are welcome to send it for review. You may also include notes about your design preferences. These notes will be added to your project folder for our Design Team to review as your platter is created. A proof is sent for every personalized order, so you can review and approve your final design before production begins.
We Prepare the Original Artwork
For handwritten recipes and other source materials, we carefully isolate the handwriting from the original paper and restore it as needed for reproduction. Depending on the condition of the original, this may include reducing or removing recipe-card lines, paper backgrounds, unwanted borders, printed graphics, stains, discoloration, and other distracting background elements.
Our goal is to create clean artwork while retaining the recognizable characteristics of the original handwriting. If there are particular details from the original card that you would like to keep, please let us know when you submit your files.
Once the artwork is prepared, we arrange it specifically for your selected platter design and any composition notes you provide. Because recipes vary in length, handwriting size, orientation, and source material, every layout is adjusted individually. Text size, spacing, placement, photographs, and other design elements may be modified to create a balanced final composition. If your recipe is written on more than one page or on both sides of a recipe card, we can combine the separate images into one design. We can also combine content from multiple source materials.
Review Your Digital Proof
A digital mockup of your platter will be sent by email for review before production. If you prefer to receive your proof by text message, please include a telephone number in the Project Notes. The proof gives you the opportunity to review the overall layout, placement of the recipe, photographs, and any other requested elements before your platter is made. Production begins once the design has been approved.
Your Custom Platter Is Produced
After proof approval, your personalized platter is made to order using the finalized artwork and shipped to the address provided at checkout. A tracking number will be emailed automatically once your order has shipped. You may also check your order status through your order or receipt page. PLATTER SPECIFICATIONS
This 10" x 14" oval serving platter is made from durable, BPA-free resin with a smooth satin finish. It is food safe, dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and oven safe at 250°F to 275°F for 60 minutes or less. The design is permanently printed, and the platter is lightweight, durable, and suitable for both everyday serving and display.
This platter is not ceramic. Its resin construction provides a lighter, more durable alternative to traditional ceramic serveware while still creating a polished keepsake piece. Made in the USA.
IMAGE QUALITY RECOMMENDATIONS
For the best results, photograph or scan your recipe in bright, even lighting. Capture it as straight-on as possible, use the highest available resolution, and make sure the entire recipe is visible. Please avoid fingers or objects covering the writing, as well as strong glare or shadows.
Older, faded, or damaged originals do not need to be perfect. If you are uncertain about your image quality, you are welcome to send it for review before or after ordering.
DESIGN & COLOR INFORMATION
Each platter is individually designed using the source material you provide, so text placement and sizing will vary from one order to another. Colors may appear slightly different in person due to variations in screen and monitor settings.
Any wood grain, glitter, metallic effects, or other textures shown in a design are printed faux finishes. They are not actual wood, glitter, metal, or dimensional materials. Minor production variations may occur as part of the custom printing process.

The platter, materials, design work, and production are all Made in the USA. Each piece is individually designed from the source materials you provide and produced only after your final proof has been approved.
