No. You may complete checkout first and send your handwriting, photographs, and other materials afterward. If you already placed your order, include your name, order number, or email address when submitting your files so we can match them to the correct project.
You may send your files by email, text message, through our File Submission Portal, or by uploading them directly on the product page before checkout. Please choose the method that is easiest for you. You only need to submit each file once.
We accept clear photographs and scanned files in common formats, including JPG, PNG, PDF, and EPS. Whenever possible, send the original, highest-resolution version of the file rather than a screenshot, compressed copy, or image downloaded from social media.
No. Please keep the original document safely at home. A clear photograph or high-quality scan is normally all we need to carefully isolate and restore the handwriting for your design.
The most ideal file formats are vectors or PDF files. However, we accept any type of file extension. You can upload any type of file to our File Submission Portal or on the product page. Or, you can send us the file via email at support@KeepsakeCharm.com or via text message to 859-685-5191.
A clear photograph or high-resolution scan of your handprints or footprints works well. We accept all file types. Whenever possible, capture the entire print in bright, even light, without shadows, and send the original file at its highest resolution.
We can work with handwritten recipes, letters, greeting cards, signatures, notes, journal entries, inscriptions, and other meaningful writing. Even a short phrase or familiar sign-off, such as “Love, Mom,” can become the focal point of a keepsake.
Yes, we can. Our experienced design and restoration team can use the handwriting samples from the rest of your document in order to recover and restore any missing words or portions of your source materials.

Our design team carefully isolates and restores the original handwriting while preserving the personal characteristics that make it recognizable. Yes. You may send several recipes, cards, letters, signatures, or other documents. Let us know which words or sections are most important, and our design team can arrange the selected elements into one cohesive design.
Yes. We can use vintage typewriting from an original document, as well as printed recipes or newspaper and cookbook clippings that contain meaningful handwritten notes. Send the clearest image available, and we will review the material for your project.
Yes. We provide a digital proof for every custom order before it enters production. The proof allows you to review the handwriting, spelling, names, dates, photographs, placement, and other personalized details.
Yes. Every custom order includes a design proof for you to review before production. You can check the prints, personalization, and layout and request adjustments. We begin production only after you approve your design.
Yes. If you would like an adjustment, let us know before approving the proof. Our design team will revise the design and send an updated version for your review. Production will not begin until we receive your approval.
Once your proof is approved, the design is considered final and your keepsake moves into production. The approved artwork is carefully prepared and applied to the product you selected.

Please send your files to us for review. Working with older, faded, stained, folded, or imperfect originals is a familiar part of what we do. Our experienced restoration and design team has worked with a wide range of source materials, and we have never had to turn a customer away because of file quality.

Yes. We can often restore handwriting that is blurry, faded, lightly written, stained, or otherwise difficult to see. Our design team carefully enhances and restores the original writing while preserving the characteristics that make it personal. Please send the clearest and highest-resolution photograph or scan available. If you have more than one photograph or scan of the document, sending each version may help us recover additional details.
Yes. We typically remove paper lines, creases, stains, discoloration, and unwanted background elements so the finished design looks as though the handwriting was written directly on the product. We can also preserve meaningful illustrations, decorative details, stamps, doodles, or other graphics from the original when desired. Please tell us if there is anything specific you would like us to keep, include, remove, or restore.
Yes. We welcome custom orders and can create a unique design based on your handwriting, photographs, ideas, and source materials. Because custom requests may require additional design and preparation time, they can take longer to complete than our standard designs. Please contact us with your idea, preferred product, source materials, and any special details so we can review the request and discuss what is possible.
