HOW TO PLAY
Before the bridal shower, choose 5 school photographs of the bride and 5 school photographs of the groom at different ages. Arrange them as 5 numbered pairs, with one photo of each person under every number. Confirm their grades with the couple or their families, and keep a separate answer key hidden for scoring.
Give each guest a What Grade were They card and a pen or pencil. Invite guests to study the photographs and write their grade guesses under the “Bride” and “Groom” headings on the corresponding numbered line. Each guest will make 10 guesses altogether.
Allow approximately 10–15 minutes for everyone to finish, or leave the photo display available for guests to visit throughout the shower.
Once everyone has completed their cards, reveal the correct grades. Award one point for each correctly guessed age, for a possible total of 10 points. The guest with the most points wins! Award a small prize if desired, and invite the bride or couple to share a few memories behind the photographs.
If you are printing on dark kraft cardstock, white colored pencils or white gel pens can help guests’ writing stand out clearly against the paper.

RECREATE THE LOOK
To achieve the rustic look featured in our display images, we recommend printing your games on kraft cardstock or kraft paper. Kraft paper can be found at most craft and office supply stores, and many major retailers and grocery stores now carry it in their craft or stationery section.
