— • HOW TO PLAY • —
Help the bride-to-be write a set of unexpected wedding vows with this fun fill-in-the-blank activity!
- Hand out the word-list sheets. Give each guest a word-list sheet and a pen or pencil. Keep the wedding vow page hidden until everyone has chosen their words.
- Fill in the words. Guests enter the bride’s and groom’s names, then supply each requested type of word. Encourage silly, creative answers! Helpful definitions are included on the word-list sheet.
- Complete the vows. Hand out the wedding vow page. Guests transfer their answers into the blanks in the same order they appear on the word list.
- Sign and share. Have guests add their names at the bottom, then take turns reading their completed vows aloud—or let the bride read her favorites.
- Choose a favorite. For an optional prize, the bride can select the funniest, sweetest, or most creative vows. There are no right or wrong answers!
Collect the completed pages as a keepsake for the bride-to-be.

To achieve the rustic look featured in our display images, we recommend printing your games on kraft cardstock or kraft paper. Kraft paper can be found at most craft and office supply stores, and many major retailers and grocery stores now carry it in their craft or stationery section.
