Over or Under Bridal Shower Game

— • HOW TO PLAY • —
Before the bridal shower, ask the bride or couple to provide the correct number for each statement on the game card. Keep these answers handy as the host’s answer key, and save the reveal until everyone has finished playing.

Give each guest a game card and a pen or pencil. Guests read each statement and decide whether the number printed on the card is over or under the correct answer. Mark the upward arrow if the printed number is too high, or the downward arrow if it is too low. For example, if the card says the couple met 4 years ago but they actually met 6 years ago, the printed number is under the correct answer. Before play begins, let guests know that if they think a printed number is exactly right, they should mark both arrows.

Allow approximately 15-20 minutes for everyone to make their guesses. Then read each statement aloud and invite the bride-to-be to reveal the correct number. Award one point for each correct response. The guest with the most points wins! A small prize is a fun optional finishing touch.

To achieve the rustic look featured in our display images, we recommend printing your games on kraft cardstock or kraft paper. Kraft paper can be found at most craft and office supply stores, and many major retailers and grocery stores now carry it in their craft or stationery section.
