Finish the Bride's Phrase Bridal Shower Game
— • HOW TO PLAY • —
Before the bridal shower, ask the bride-to-be to privately complete all 15 phrases on the card in her own words. Keep her completed card hidden to use as the host’s answer key.
Give each guest a Finish the Bride’s Phrase card and a pen or pencil. Invite guests to guess how the bride completed each phrase and write their predictions on the corresponding blank lines. The goal is to match the bride’s answers, so encourage everyone to think about her personality and sense of humor.
Allow approximately 5–10 minutes for guests to finish. Then read each phrase aloud and invite the bride to reveal her answer. Guests can share their guesses along the way for a few laughs and surprises.
Award one point for each matching answer, with the bride deciding whether close responses count. There are 15 possible points, and the guest with the highest score wins! Award a small prize if desired, and consider having extra prizes ready in case of a tie.
If you are printing on dark kraft cardstock, white colored pencils or white gel pens can help guests’ writing stand out clearly against the paper.
