Pass The Poem Bridal Shower Game

— • HOW TO PLAY • —
Place one poem card at each table and choose a guest to begin. The first player reads the opening verse aloud, then passes the card to the person described in that verse.

Each guest who receives the poem reads the next verse aloud and follows its passing instruction. Continue through the poem in order, passing the card according to the clues—from the guest carrying the largest purse to the person who traveled the farthest. Read only the next verse each time so everyone can follow along as the card makes its way around the table.

If more than one guest matches a clue, the person holding the card can choose between them. If no one matches, the host can select the closest match to keep the game moving.

The guest holding the poem at the end wins the table’s centerpiece, as revealed in the final verse! Be sure to arrange a centerpiece that can be given away at each participating table. If you would prefer to award a different prize, announce that substitution before the game begins.

This easy activity requires no writing or answer sheets and gives guests a fun reason to chat, laugh, and get to know their tablemates.
